Francesco Marini Clarelli obtained a BA with honors in 1980 majoring in Economics at the University of California in Santa Barbara, and developed his career in the alternative asset management field, where he sports a 35 years’ experience.
In 2008, he founded and led Astor Investment Advisors SIM, predecessor to DECALIA Asset Management SIM, a multi-thematic, multi-asset class concern dedicated to manage alternative funds for private and institutional clients.
Tancredi Signorelli graduated from the University of Buckingham with a bachelor degree in International Business. Prior to joining Astor Investment Advisors, predecessor of DECALIA, he began his career in Madrid at GBS Finanzas. At Astor he accumulated 8 years as part of the investment team co-managing specific portfolios within the multi-asset strategies of the house, with a particular focus on EM investments and fund selection.
Raffaella Santangelo has started working since 1984 in Nuova Calipso Srl as accounting secretary. In 1993, she joined Astor Partners Srl, Francesco Marini Clarelli’s company. In 2014, she joined Astor SIM (now DECALIA Asset Management SIM) as executive secretary with specific tasks like accounting management, relationships with banks, suppliers, regulators and outsourcers.
Armando Beninati holds a bachelor in business administration from Bocconi University in Milan.
Before joining in Astor, predecessor of DECALIA, he worked as analyst in Muzinich & Co. in London and Milan within the Italian private debt team. At Astor, he worked as part of the investment team.
Jürgen Mahler graduated in Business Administration at University of Economics and Commerce of Vienna.
Before joining DECALIA, he held business development roles at several foreign asset management companies in Italy, such as Country Head Italy for Oddo Meriten AM, Head of Sales for WestLB AM in Milan and Deputy General Manager & Sales Director for BNY Mellon AMI Milan.
Roberto Crisci holds a degree in Economics at Cattolica University of Milan. In 1999, he began his career as an analyst. He joined Citibank Int. Plc and after this he worked for a leading Italian asset management company focused on hedge funds management. He joined Astor Investment Advisors SIM in 2011, now DECALIA Asset Management SIM, focusing on corporate business development.
Jody Vender has over 40 years of experience in alternative investment. In 2008, he co-founded Astor SIM, which was acquired by DECALIA Asset Management in 2016. Prior to that, Jody Vender founded and managed Sopaf in 1978, a company active in private equity, financial intermediation, real estate intermediation and trading, before selling the company in 2005.
Jody Vender holds a BA degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan, where he has also been a Finance Professor from 1977 to 2004. He sat on the Board of AIFI (Italian Venture Capital Association) and of several companies, such as Rinaldo Piaggio, Buitoni, Zanussi, Mondadori and Banca Nazionale dell’Agricoltura. He is currently a Board Member of Humanitas, Coeclerici, Prelios, Assiteca, Guber and Jove Invest.
