Rodolfo De Benedetti

Partner, Member of the Board, Head of Fund Managers and Product Strategy, member of the Executive Committee, member of the Strategy Committee

Rodolfo De Benedetti has worked for Lombard Odier and Shearson Lehman Brothers in the United States. Furthermore, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors and majority co-shareholder of the Italian group CIR, of which he was the CEO for 18 years. He is also Chairman of the Harvard Business School’s European Advisory Board and member of the European Round Table of Industrialists.

He holds a Master’s degree in Political Economy and a master’s degree in Law from the University of Geneva.

Sébastien Demole

Partner, Head of Alternative Advisory, member of the Executive Committee, member of the Strategy and Investment Committees

Sébastien Demole starts his career in 2002 at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London as a junior trader. Two years later, he is sent to Hong Kong to develop their equity derivative trading desk.

In 2009, he joins the Parisian hedge fund Boussard & Gavaudan Gestion as a proprietary trader for the multi-strategy fund. Back in Switzerland in 2012, Sébastien Demole opens the PerenInvest Family Office, where he is in charge of investments in various asset classes, such as direct deals in Private Equity.

Sébastien Demole holds a BSc in Economics from QMW, University of London, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Nicoló Miscioscia, ACCA

Head of Private Markets

At DECALIA, Nicolo’ Miscioscia is Head of Private Markets, an activity that he helped to develop since its inception. He is also Co-Portfolio Manager for Private Markets funds and mandates managed by DECALIA.

Nicoló Miscioscia is a chartered accountant (ACCA) and holds a Bsc in Management from Cass Business School in London.

He began his career as an auditor in the financial sector, spending 4 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Geneva and Luxembourg. He then co-founded U-Start Club in Lugano and Milan, a private markets platform specialised in venture capital syndications.

Reji Vettasseri

Lead Portfolio Manager Private Markets Funds and Mandates

Reji Vettasseri is the Lead Portfolio Manager for the Private Markets Funds and Mandates managed by DECALIA.

Prior to DECALIA Reji Vettasseri was a senior member of Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners EMEA team with lead responsibility for credit strategies. Previously he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs within the M&A EMEA Industrials team and a Strategy Consultant at Bain & Company.

Reji Vettasseri holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a MSc and BSc in Law from University of Cambridge.

Rodolphe de Villaine, CFA

Senior Private Markets Analyst

Rodolphe de Villaine is a Senior Analyst within the Private Markets team. Rodolphe de Villaine is involved in the origination, analysis and monitoring of projects and is responsible for the Operations of the Private Markets department.

Rodolphe de Villaine graduated from the Université Paris Dauphine with a degree in Finance and holds a CFA qualification.

Prior to joining DECALIA, he worked for 11 years with Fédéris Gestion d’Actifs (Group La Banque Postale) where he managed the Fédéris Croissance Euro, Avenir Euro and Fédéris Ex Euro strategies.

Franco Facecchia

Private Markets Analyst

Franco Maria Facecchia is an Analyst in the Private Markets team, where he contributes to the origination, analysis and monitoring of projects.

Previously he worked five years at Luxottica Group covering a number of roles in retail, sales and marketing positions across EMEA, US and China.

Franco Maria Facecchia graduated in International Management from the Bocconi University in Milan and Fudan University in Shanghai.

Zoé Sorbac

Private Markets Analyst

Zoé Sorbac is an Analyst within the Private Markets team, where she contributes in the analysis and monitoring of projects and also holds specific responsibilities related to Investor Relations.

Zoé Sorbac holds a Bachelor with distinction in Finance from HEC Montréal.
